Installing the Drainage System
When making changes to your existing drainage system or setting up a new drainage system, it is necessary to inform the local Building Control Department at your local council offices. This will entail the presentation of detailed plans for the work to be done and regular inspection during the course of the work to ensure that it abides with the local building regulations.
Modifications can be done on either the foul water or the surface water systems of to both. Foul water comes from bathrooms, utility or kitchen wastes while surface water is mainly made up of rainwater going out of the water sewer.
