As a house gets older, like a child it outgrows it’s basic components such as the electrical wires and receptacles that often break. Having a home renovation is a good time to have the electrical system inspected for problems so they can be corrected easily. Your growing child quickly overloads the electrical circuit to a room due to the tons of gizmos and gadgets they plug in day in and out.
Rodent damage, pending shorts due to over loading and other issues have to be addressed for as your kids get bigger, you end up with more stuff that plugs into your sockets. Though a properly designed house would not have much of a problem, older ones may need a total re-make to make the home safer and better for many more years with safety in mind and your peace of mind.
